VENUE
ECI has a longstanding connection with Ellis Island. Founded in 1922 as the American Viewpoint organization, the group welcomed new citizens arriving through Ellis Island, introducing them to the values and culture of their new home: the United States of America.
With a focus on the need for individual responsibility in a democratic society, American Viewpoint taught everything from U.S. History and the value of education to basic instructions on how to vote in an election.
The organization believed that the intrinsic worth of people endowed with freedom and responsibility must be preserved and protected. These are values that ECI stands by to this day. And it is an honor to be returning to ECI’s roots and an iconic historic site to celebrate our first century.
The Centennial Celebration is an immersive experience that will take full advantage of all that Ellis Island has to offer. Guests will have the opportunity to research their ancestry at the Family History Center—with approximately 65 million records available—with assistance from dedicated Ellis Island staff.
Gala attendees will also be able to explore the National Museum of Immigration, which offers interactive exhibits designed to highlight the wonders of America’s “melting pot” culture, while also illuminating the complex realities of the immigration process.
Just 15 minutes by ferry from Battery Park, NYC, Ellis Island showcases stunning views of the New York City skyline and Lady Liberty. Sponsor a table of 10 to bring your team to this special event, or purchase an individual ticket today.
